Adoration of the Eternal Father is a 1904 by Blanche F Hunter, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This painting shows a large group of people gathered around a central figure, with many smaller scenes and figures surrounding them. The colors are muted, with lots of gold, pink, and blue. The painting is very detailed, with intricate patterns and designs on the clothing and backgrounds. It looks like it might be from a long time ago, but it's hard to say for sure. A watercolour copy by Blanche F. Hunter from 1904, this work replicates a circa 1500 Flemish tapestry depicting the Adoration of the Eternal Father. Hunter, along with her sister Ada, produced such copies and hand-coloured photographs for the museum between the 1890s and 1900s, often expanding small fabric fragments into larger works. Many of these pieces remain in the Textiles and Fashion collection alongside their original textile fragments.
