Outside of a Humble of Print Shop is a 1828 by George Cruikshank, a Romanticism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This sketch shows a busy street scene outside a small shop. A woman in a long dress holds a baby, while a man in a top hat points at a sign in the window. Two boys crouch near a dog, and another man leans against the wall. Inside, shelves hold framed pictures and odd objects. The shop’s sign reads "Print Shop," hinting at old-fashioned letterpress printing. The artist’s name, *George Cruikshank*, is signed in the corner. Look up Cruikshank, George to see more of his sharp, funny prints.
