You see a field with people harvesting crops in this painting. It's a simple scene, but what's interesting is that the artist, De Wint, was very productive and created many watercolours like this one. He also tried oil painting, but wasn't as successful with it. Check out the work of the Victoria and Albert Museum to see more of De Wint's watercolours.
