Christ Healing the Blind Man is a 1850 by Richard Earlom, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
The painting depicts a scene of Jesus Christ healing a blind man. Jesus is shown with a halo, touching the blind man's eyes with his right hand. The blind man holds a staff in his left hand and looks up at Jesus. A group of people, including a woman and a child, stand around them, watching the scene unfold. The painting is rendered in a dark, muted color palette, with the figures set against a somber background. The use of chiaroscuro creates a sense of depth and volume, drawing the viewer's attention to the central figures. This painting is a fine example of the work of artist Earlom, Richard.
A print on paper by Richard Earlom, after Annibale Carracci, depicts the scene of Christ healing the blind man.
