This painting shows a room filled with framed artworks on red walls. There's a large, white-framed archway in the center, and another one to the right. The floor is light-colored wood. A few of the paintings on the walls are gold-framed and show people or landscapes. There's a tall, dark cabinet to the left of the central archway, and some other objects that are hard to make out. The artist, Enrico Meneghelli, used a technique called chiaroscuro to create deep shadows and highlights in this painting.
