"Tire de l'Orginal de Montieur Paulen bey Fietta et Comp." is a work by Fietta et Comp., held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This print shows a quiet village scene with a dirt road and a small stream. A group of people walks near a house with a sloped roof, and a crane stands behind it. Trees and a few other buildings fill the background, while the sky looks cloudy. The text at the bottom names it after "Montieur Paulen," but we don’t know who that is. The print looks like it was made to copy an original painting, though it’s not clear which one. If you like old prints like this, check out the Victoria and Albert Museum.
A round woodcut print by Fietta et Comp. depicts a peasant village scene in which three dancers perform a folk dance while two musicians play bagpipes and a hurdy-gurdy in the background; the title "Tire de l'Orginal de Montieur Paulen bey Fietta et Comp." appears beneath the image. The work entered the museum as part of the Cyril Beaumont Bequest.
