This black-and-white photo shows Norman Wisdom, the British comedian famous for his bumbling character Norman Pitkin. Taken around 1970, it captures Wisdom’s quick, expressive face—less slapstick, more thoughtful. Wisdom’s career spanned UK films, stage work in New York, and even a standout TV role in *Going Gently*, which won praise. He was knighted in 2000 and spent his later years on the Isle of Man.
