About this work

This watercolor shows a quiet countryside scene with two old wooden buildings. One has a steep, dark roof and a small tower on top. The other is shorter with a green door. A person stands near the path, holding something small. Trees and bushes frame the scene, and the grass looks patchy in spots. The artist used loose, quick brushstrokes to capture light and shadow—some areas are barely sketched, while others have more detail. The sky is soft and pale, almost blending into the background.
