Untitled is a 1771 ink by Isoda Koryūsai, a Romanticism work, depicting evening, held at Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Two women in flowing robes sit by a window with red lattice panels. One kneels, holding a fan, while the other stands, adjusting her hair. The room is simple, with a woven mat on the floor and a faint glimpse of greenery outside. Light falls softly through the slats, casting shadows. The artist used fine lines to show fabric folds and shadows, giving the scene depth. This style was common in Japanese prints of the time.
