Elevation of screen in Hall. is a 1776 by James Lambert senior, a Romanticism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This is a simple black-and-white drawing of a tall, arched screen with three arched doorways at the bottom. The top of the screen has a curved shape with small decorative shapes along the edge. Below it, there’s a straight section with evenly spaced panels and more small designs. The handwriting at the top says it’s from *Hertford House Castle*, but the drawing itself looks more like a stage set or a grand room divider. The lines are light, almost like a sketch someone might make to plan a building. If you like this kind of precise drawing, check out cross-hatching.
