The Victoria and Albert Museum holds one of 500 albumen prints purchased in 1864 from the Parisian photographer Louise Laffon, documenting marble sculpture from the Campana Collection at the Musée Napoléon III (now the Louvre). The series includes views of architecture, ornamentation, terra cotta, and marble works, with some prints retaining original gilded mounts marked with the gender-neutral stamp "L. Louise Laffon (1828–1885), was a French photographer and painter. She was one of the first female professional photographers in France. She had a studio in Paris between 1859 and 1876.
