This poster is a mid-20th-century ad for Walter Lucken’s Circus in Hornsey. It was printed by the Lower Earley Printing Works in Reading. The poster still lives in the Victoria and Albert Museum’s collection. The print is a great example of a small-town circus flyer. It shows how posters spread the word before social media.
