This figure looks like it’s made of sharp, jagged pieces of paper. The person is hunched over, holding a long sword in one hand and resting their head on the other arm. Their clothes and hair are cut into uneven shapes, almost like broken metal. The artist used real printed paper—newspaper or something similar—cut and layered to create the whole scene. The black-and-white effect makes it look like a shadowy silhouette. Check out how the artist used scumbling to build up texture in the figure’s clothes.
