This 1962 watercolor by Sotirios Michou shows a patchy purple landscape with dark, jagged lines cutting across it. The colors look thin and light, like tea on paper. It feels loose and quick, not polished. Michou often worked in cycles—flowers, cats, landscapes. He mixed watercolor with tiny brush marks, letting colors bleed.
