Rievaulx Abbey, Yorkshire is a 1806 watercolor by Paul Sandby Munn, a British Romanticism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This painting shows an old stone ruin with tall arched windows and crumbling walls. In front of it, a grassy hill slopes down to a path where three people stand talking. To the left, a man sits on a rock, holding a walking stick. Trees and bushes surround the scene, and the sky is pale and hazy. The ruin looks like a church or monastery, with broken arches and ivy climbing the walls. The artist used soft, muted colors to show the quiet mood of the place.
