This ink drawing shows ships clashing in a stormy sea under dark skies. Smoke and waves fill the scene. Tiny soldiers crowd the decks. Alkis Pierrakos used only black lines to make the chaos feel real. No color keeps the focus on the battle’s fury. Each scratch of the pen adds tension. The series has 38 drawings like this. See one at the Museum of Ethnography.
