Overview
A watercolour drawing by Giuseppe Maria Terreni depicts the entrance to the Black Sea from the Thracian Bosphorus, viewed from Keretch Bournu. The work is part of a series of fourteen watercolours of Constantinople and the Bosphorus, some of which are signed by the artist. Comparable works from the same series have been held in collections such as that of David Ker and formerly with Hobhouse Ltd.
