This painting shows a calm waterway with a few small boats near the shore. On the right, a rocky cliff rises up, covered in trees and bushes. In the distance, hills fade into a soft, hazy sky, and a few ships dot the water. The title at the bottom tells us this is a view of the Black Sea entrance.
