Untitled is a photographic by Joop van Lunteren, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This is a photo of a carved wooden window frame. The frame shows two figures standing on either side of the window, holding up the ledge. The window itself has a simple rectangular shape with small panes, and the carving around it looks worn. The figures have a rough, textured look, almost like they’re part of the wood itself. The wood around the window shows signs of age and damage, with chips and cracks visible. Check out the Victoria and Albert Museum for more pieces like this.
A photograph by Joop van Lunteren is mounted on green card. The work is part of a collection bequeathed by William Kineton Parkes in 1938, who gathered responses from sculptors through questionnaires in the 1920s. These photographs were sent by sculptors to Kineton Parkes to complete his survey.
