About this work

This drawing shows a building facade with three tall columns and a central doorway. Above the door is a Latin inscription, and the top of the building has a cross. Two small statues stand on either side of the roofline, and the whole scene is framed by an arch with a decorative carving at the center. The drawing is precise, with careful shading to show depth and texture in the stonework. It looks like a detailed plan for a church or chapel.
