L'Avenue des Champs Elysées is a 1890 by Auguste Lepère, a Impressionism work, held at Cleveland Museum of Art.
This sketch shows a busy park scene with lots of people. On the left, groups sit on grass under big trees, chatting or resting. In the middle, a wide path cuts through the park, with more people walking or standing around. A few kids play near the path, and a man in a hat walks with a child. Trees line both sides, and a building with a tower peeks through the branches on the right. The artist focused on everyday life, not fancy poses. The lines are loose but full of movement, almost like a quick sketch. This style was common in late 19th-century France.
