Study of a patch of ground with plants including clover is a 1904 watercolor by Beatrix Potter, a Impressionism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Beatrix Potter painted a close-up of dirt and plants in watercolor. She used small brushes to show leaves and clover among fallen autumn leaves. This was part of her detailed nature studies. Potter spent years observing plants and animals. These sketches helped her make the animal and plant drawings in her famous children’s books.
