Grenadier in the Greek Style, Plate 3 is a 1771 by Benigno Bossi, a Romanticism work, held at Cleveland Museum of Art.
This print shows a soldier dressed like an ancient Greek warrior. He wears a tall helmet with feathers, a short tunic, and carries a spear. His chest has a round shield with a sun symbol, and his legs are wrapped in armor. Two winged creatures sit on his shoulders, holding up a decorated column behind him. The title says this is a "Grenadier in the Greek Style," meaning the artist mixed modern soldiers with old Greek armor. The feathers and shield look more like fantasy than real Greek gear.
