H Beard Print Collection is a 1600 by François Séraphin Delpech, a Baroque work, depicting Lute, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This is a 1600 print by Delpech, François Séraphin. It shows a figure in all-black costume holding a lute-like stringed instrument. The hand-colored lithograph copies a Comedie Italienne stage role from that year. The outfit includes a doublet, breeches, and hose, with a white shirt peeking out. A loose black cloak drapes over one shoulder. The scene mixes fashion and theater for 17th-century Italy. Check out the Victoria and Albert Museum next.
A hand-coloured lithograph depicts Joseph Tortoreti performing the role of Scaramouche in the Comédie Italienne around 1600, dressed in a black ensemble comprising a front-fastening doublet, breeches, and hose, secured with a belt and complemented by a loose cloak draped over the left shoulder. The outfit is accented only by a white shirt visible at the collar and cuffs. In his right hand, he holds a stringed instrument resembling a guitar.
