Road with Barn and Cottages is a 1676 ink by Johannes van Doetechum the Elder, a Baroque work, held at National Gallery of Art.
This black-and-white print shows a quiet village scene with three small houses and a big barn. A dirt road winds through the middle, and a tiny stream runs alongside it. Two bare trees stand near the houses, and a few people are scattered around—some walking, one sitting by the water.
