Three people stand close together in a simple room, their faces calm but watchful. Lines and shapes around them feel sharp, almost like a drawing made with stamps or blocks. It’s a print, so the image was pressed onto paper from a carved surface. This work plays with how we see space and who holds our attention. The way the figures are arranged may nod to Velázquez’s *Las Meninas*, a famous 17th-century painting with a complex layout. Here, the style is flat and graphic, not realistic, which gives it a modern, thoughtful feel. The artist uses contrast and position to make us question who is central and why.
