This drawing shows a tall, ornate cup with two ram’s heads at the bottom. The cup has swirling patterns and scrollwork covering its surface, including leaves, flowers, and tiny faces peeking from the design. The top flares out into wing-like shapes with more intricate details. The artist used fine lines to create depth, a technique called cross-hatching. The initials "P.V.N." are written below the cup, but we don’t know who they belong to. Next, look up cross-hatching to see how artists build shadows with lines.
