This print shows a group of men walking in a line, dressed in old-fashioned armor and robes. Some hold spears or staffs, and one carries a palm branch. Behind them is a brick wall with arches and a small shrine. The faces look serious, and the figures are drawn with careful lines. Notice how the artist used shading to show depth in the faces and armor. The background buildings look like ruins, adding a sense of history. Check out chiaroscuro to see how this technique works.
