This sketch shows a quiet, rolling landscape with a winding path cutting through trees. The drawing is mostly in soft browns and grays, with a few patches of green where leaves peek through. The paper looks worn, like it’s been handled a lot, and there’s a thin line of what might be a stick or tool near the left side. The artist used tiny, repeated lines to build up shadows and shapes—this is called *stippling*. It gives the scene a textured, almost sketchy feel, like they were working fast to capture the light. Look up cross-hatching to see how this technique works in other drawings.
