H Beard Print Collection is a 1850 by George Greatbach, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This print shows a scene from Shakespeare’s *The Tempest*. It’s an etching by George Greatbach from the mid-1800s. Two actors play Stephano and Trinculo in costume. The costumes are funny—Stephano’s jacket is too small and gapes open. Trinculo wears a jester’s outfit with bright colors and tassels. A full-length etching of Act 3, Scene 2 from *The Tempest* depicts Stephano, played by Mr. A. Younge, in an ill-fitting Elizabethan-style doublet and hose that gapes open at the waist and chest, revealing a linen shirt beneath. Trinculo, portrayed by Mr. H. Nye, wears a parti-colored jester’s tunic with false, tassel-trimmed oversleeves and matching tights. The two characters stand centrally within a surreal island setting.
