E. Harding made this print in 1792. It shows Richard Tarlton in simple clothes, playing a pipe and tabor. Tarlton carries a small bag at his waist. Romanticism often shows everyday life with a poetic touch. This print is black and white, made with tiny dots. The artist used a technique called stipple engraving.
