Contribution to V&A's 150th anniversary album is a 2007 watercolor by Kaffe Fassett, a Contemporary Abstract work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Kaffe Fassett made a watercolour page for the V&A’s 150th anniversary album in 2007. The V&A invited 150 artists to share what inspired them about the museum. Fassett’s page could be a drawing, design, sketch, graphic, computer image, or just words. This album marked the museum’s move to South Kensington in 1857. Fassett was one of many creatives who responded to the brief. Look up the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Kaffe Fassett contributed a page to the Victoria and Albert Museum’s 150th anniversary album in 2007, featuring a central handwritten note surrounded by vivid watercolour depictions of flowers, bowls, and vases. The page reflects the artist’s interpretation of what inspires him about the museum and its collections. It is one of 60 pages in the first volume of a three-volume set.
