This sketch shows three men riding horses along a dirt path. The man on the left sits sideways on his horse, holding the reins loosely. The middle man walks beside his horse, leading it by the bridle. The third man rides behind them, also holding the reins. The background has simple bushes and a small hill. The horses look calm, and the men wear old-fashioned hats and coats. The artist used a scratchy, sketchy style that feels quick and rough. This is made using lithography, a printing method that lets artists draw directly on stone.
