About this work

This is a black-and-white drawing of a fancy coat of arms. At the center sits a shield with a lion on it. Around the shield are curly lines and a lion’s head on top, holding what looks like a crown. The whole thing is framed by swirly decorations that fill the space. The name "Hartkolt" is written below the shield. This style was used by families or cities to show their power and history.
