Overview
A watercolor by Beatrix Potter from 1927 depicts Mrs Rabbit holding a basket and an umbrella. The work was created for a Horn Book magazine fund-raising effort. It was later acquired by the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1973 as part of the Linder Bequest, which includes a substantial collection of Potter-related materials.
