About this work

This sketch shows a rabbit wearing a green coat and holding a small object in one paw.

This sketch shows a rabbit wearing a green coat and holding a small object in one paw. The rabbit’s face is simple but expressive, with big ears and a gentle look. The background is just light washes of color, leaving the rabbit as the focus.

The artist signed it in the corner with the date September 1927. The loose, quick lines make the drawing feel lively and friendly.
