Senaattori Sackleenin talo is a work by Magnus von Wright, held at Helsinki City Museum.
This painting depicts a serene winter scene, with a large house at its center. The house features a brown exterior and a white roof, accompanied by a chimney emitting smoke. In the foreground, a wooden fence and a pile of logs are visible, while a road runs along the right side of the image. The background is characterized by a light pink sky, with a few birds flying overhead. The artist's use of muted colors and gentle brushstrokes creates a sense of calmness, inviting the viewer to step into the peaceful winter landscape. The attention to detail in the depiction of the house and its surroundings adds depth to the painting. For more information on the artist's technique, explore the art of cross-hatching.
