This etching shows a group of people mourning over a man's body. The man lies on the ground, covered with a cloth. Three women and two angels surround him, looking sad and concerned. One of the women touches the man's arm, while another holds his hand. The angels seem to be comforting the women. The scene is set against a cloudy sky with trees in the background. The etching is done in a detailed, realistic style, with lots of texture and shading. It's a powerful and moving image. If you like this, you might also want to check out the Baroque movement.
