Untitled is a photographic by Eduard Zimmermann, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This is a black-and-white photo of a stone statue. It shows a barefoot woman standing on a pedestal, her arms relaxed at her sides. Her hair is pulled back, and she’s dressed only in a simple headband. The statue looks smooth but has a slightly rough texture, especially on her arms and legs. The way her body is carved is natural, with no extra details. If you want to see more by this artist, look up Zimmermann, Eduard.
A photograph by Eduard Zimmermann is mounted on a green card. It was part of a collection bequeathed by William Kineton Parkes in 1938, who was a novelist, art historian, and librarian known for his work on sculpture. Parkes distributed questionnaires to sculptors in the 1920s, and this photograph was one of many responses he received. The image is now held in the Archive of Art and Design.
