The painting depicts a scene from the Bible, where Jesus is raising Lazarus from the dead. Jesus stands in the center, with his right hand extended towards Lazarus, who is seated on a cart. A crowd of people surrounds them, watching the miracle unfold. In the background, a building with columns can be seen, and a few trees are visible on the left side of the image.
