This drawing shows a woman’s face in soft pastels on paper. Pale pinks and blues blend gently around her features. The paper looks worn, like it’s been handled a lot. Jonas Forsslund used pastels for a quick, lifelike effect. Pastels let him mix colors right on the page. This work feels personal, like a private sketch.
