Chinese boatpeople by a makeshift dwelling on the shore is a 19 by George Chinnery, a Romanticism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
A drawing from a volume containing 93 sheets of sketches made in Macau and its vicinity, this work depicts a boatwoman wearing a headscarf standing on the shore beside two children, with a temporary dwelling constructed of rattan and bamboo nearby and boats sketched in the bay beyond.
