Overview

The drawing depicts two Tanka boats, each carrying two figures, one of whom holds a long pole. It is part of a volume containing 97 sheets of sketches featuring shipping, figures, and animals, primarily drawn in China. The album was bequeathed in 1928 by James Orange and includes 93 drawings by George Chinnery.
