This print shows two women in bright robes. The woman on the left holds a fan and looks down. The other woman, smaller, leans against her. Their clothes have bold colors—pink, green, and gold—with swirling patterns. The background is plain, so the focus stays on them. The artist wrote Japanese poems along the top edge. These poems add meaning but aren’t easy to read. The print was made by carving wood and inking it, a common method in Japan at the time. Look up Isoda Koryūsai to see more of his work.
