This piece shows two very different images on graph paper. On the left is a simple sketch of a wooden chair—just lines and shading. On the right is a messy, dark scene with what looks like a boat and some people, all smudged and torn. The artist mixed printed photos with hand-drawn marks. The boat side looks like it was cut up and glued back together. If you like this style, check out John Baldessari.
