Bookplate: Coat of Arms with Winthrop Sargent inscribed below is a 1796 by Joseph Callender, held at Cleveland Museum of Art.
This drawing shows a coat of arms with a bird flying above it. The shield has a checkerboard pattern and three curved lines. Around the shield are flowers, leaves, and a banner with Latin words. Below, the name "Winthrop Sargent" is written in cursive. The Latin on the banner means "Neither to seek dishonor nor to despise honor."
