A flat plane of grass meets a low, sloping hill. Two small buildings sit side by side, their shapes sharp against the sky. Kliun left people out on purpose. The empty buildings hint they were lived in yesterday. His early drawings mix everyday scenes with soft, symbolist moods. This feels like a quiet moment before sunset.
