This is a black-and-white portrait of a man’s head turned slightly to the side. His long, wavy hair and beard are drawn in careful lines, showing each curl. The face is serious, with deep shadows under the eyes and a strong jawline. The artist used fine lines to create texture, especially in the hair and beard. The bottom of the print has a small drawing of a hand holding a scroll and some Latin text. Next, check out how this was made with engraving.
