Untitled is a 1716 ink by Okumura Masanobu, a Baroque work, depicting coupl, held at Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This painting depicts three individuals in traditional Japanese attire, with one man and two women. The man, dressed in a plaid robe, sits on a bench, smoking a pipe. To his right, a woman in a floral robe sits, also smoking a pipe. On the far right, another woman, carrying a large box on her back, wears a striped robe and holds a fan. The scene is rendered in monochrome, with a focus on bold lines and simple shapes. The use of negative space creates a sense of calmness and serenity. This artwork is reminiscent of the style of Okumura Masanobu.
