Spray of purple campanula is a 1895 watercolor by Beatrix Potter, a Impressionism work, held at Victoria and Albert Museum.
A watercolour and pencil study of a purple campanula spray occupies the top sheet of a 24-page O.W. Paper & Arts Co. sketchblock, a 72 lb watercolour paper pad sold by Henri Meunier & Co. The drawing dates from around 1880 and was executed during Potter’s early training in careful botanical observation.
