This is a photo series by Eugenia Raskopoulos. It shows her grandmother’s wrinkled lips and a marble kouros’s smooth groin side-by-side. The pictures make you question who is speaking and who is silent. Raskopoulos calls the work “With(out) voice.” She links age and youth, speech and silence. The photos ask quiet, hard questions about migration and identity. See it at the Museum of Ethnography.
