This drawing shows three simple shapes made with pencil on paper. They look like floating clouds or maybe half-melted blocks. Steris often mixed Greek myths with dreamy, strong lines. He used cross-hatching here—tiny lines that make shadows without blur. It gives the shapes weight but keeps them soft and open. You can see the pencil marks if you look close. Try drawing your own version of these forms. Look up Steris, Yerassimos (1898-1987).
